• How does one get a job heading up an LGBT Center? What sort of training is helpful? Do I need a Ph.D.? What fields of study best prepare you for this work?
• What campuses with Masters programs in Student Affairs or Student Development also offer Graduate Assistant opportunities related to LGBT resources?
• We need a set of job descriptions to use in developing a position at our campus. Is there a set of samples we can look at from different campuses?
• Where are LGBT centers/programs housed within the administrative structure of colleges/universities?
• What are examples of proposals to establish campus LGBT resource offices?
• Is it possible to combine a position heading up an LGBT office or center with a faculty appointment? Are there models for this that work?
• How do I set up an advisory board?

• How can we get our campus GLBT resource center funded?

Policies/Procedures

• I need "real-life" examples of why domestic partnership benefits are so important for our community -- beyond the general "it's good for us," "it's affirming," etc.
• Is there a good statement that I can use as to why we include the "T" in our GLBT programs?
• What types of activities have you assigned students carrying out mandated assignments from judicial affairs (when those students have been assigned to the office because of anti-gay infractions)? What work benefits the office while still providing learning opportunities for students? How do you best handle the conflict of working with a student who likely is unhappy about being assigned to the office and may not respect confidentiality, etc. of other students?
• The Office of Admissions on my campus is considering the possibility of including on our application an optional place for students to identify their sexual orientation (similar to how we ask about race and ethnicity). What are the advantages and disadvantages of adding this option?
• What policies can be put into place to accommodate transgender students in campus housing?
• Where can I find inexpensive (or better yet, free) resources on health issues for LGBT folks?
• What are some suggestions for how to get Sexual Orientation / Gender Identity or Expression  included in campus Non-Discrimination Policies

Crisis Response

• Are there guidelines for how students and administrators should respond when they receive anti-gay/lesbian death threats? What about threats made to the LGBT office?
• What are good ways to respond to hate vendors or preachers when they announce plans to come to our campuses?

Programming

• At the beginning of each term, my campus holds a student activity fair. Our LGBT office uses a give-a-way to entice students our table. We want to try something new. Any suggestions?
• Are there examples of the language one can use in newspaper ads (on National Coming Out Day, perhaps) supporting "LGBT rights," "full LGBT inclusion,"etc., accompanied by the hundreds of names of people on your campus that support the statement? What are ways to get the funds to run these sorts of ads?
• What is a GLBT speaker panel program? How do I start one on my campus?
• Where do we find LGBT speakers or entertainers?
• We want to start a video collection for our new office. Are there titles you recommend we acquire? Where do we find those hard-to-locate videos that aren't available through our local mainstream video vendors?
• Where can I find distributors for lesbian and gay films to show on my campus?
• What is Safe Zone? How do I find information to start a heterosexual ally program on my campus?
• Do you have suggestions for strategies on how to be more inclusive in our programming efforts and get people of color involved and attending our programs?
• What is lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender studies or queer studies? How can I find out more about it?
• We want to hold an LGBT conference on our campus. How should we approach this?
• Is there a model for a "lavender graduation" ceremony that we can follow or adapt?
• I need to conduct workshops and training seminars on my campus. Can anyone share their designs and handouts with me?
• Does anyone have recommendations for good Train the Trainer type workshops or programs with a specific focus on diversity issues and skills training?
• A student is beginning a job search and is seeking information regarding LBGT friendly places to work and/or LBGT-related career assistance. Do you have suggestions of career resources, books, websites, etc. that I can suggest this student check out?
• Where can I find resources and information on Jewish LGBT issues and programming suggestions?
• We want to have some sort of recognition of the violence against transgendered people. What sort of events can be done?
• Can you point me to specific resources that I can use to prepare an inservice to campus health services regarding lgbt health concerns?
• Our campus is looking for more information regarding blood drives on campus. What are some actions options and details about the Red Cross Policy?

Outreach

• What questions should a high school student ask to determine whether a college is a good fit for him or her as a lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (lgbt) student?
• We have set up a newsletter committee for our LGBT office but we need a name! Any suggestions?
• How can an LGBT office serve intersexed people? Are they included under the "T"? Are there specific suggestions of speakers or printed materials we should acquire?
• How can I find out if a campus has an LGBT student group?
• One of our students wants to study abroad. What programs are friendly to LGB and T students? Are there any study abroad progams which focus on lesbian/gay studies or queer studies?
• Is it possible to start a GLB organization at a religiously affiliated college? Any suggestions on how to make this process go more smoothly?
• Our new office needs to find out where to acquire brochures,handouts, etc. What are good materials and where do we purchase them? Free ones would be especially helpful, given our budget.
• What are your respective campus experiences on building coalitions with other multicultural groups? Include successes, pitfalls, and recommendations.
• Where can I find information regarding HIV and testing related to LGBT populations on campus?
• What have schools done to provide bathroom access to gender-variant students?

Miscellaneous

• What magazine subscriptions do you suggest for a campus LGBT center?
• How do LGBT students access finanical aid if parents or guardians are not providing any financial support?
